Malta: A Photogenic Country

Recently, a friend requested I post photos of my favorite country.  That place happens to be the ever so peaceful Costa Rica, but unfortunately, I have yet to find the prints in the deep, dark depths of my closet (taken well before I started using digital cameras).  So in the meantime, I am posting a few snaps of an extremely photogenic country: Malta.  Malta is an obscure, magical island country south of Sicily.  It’s best known as a haven for famed painter Caravaggio after going into exile/hiding, the unfaltering bravery of the Knights of Malta, and for being home to the oldest ruins in the world.  For those of you considering a trip to explore this Mediterranean gem, Air Malta has flights daily from London’s Heathrow Airport.
